The Party begins on December 3, 2017 to Celebrate World Famous VIP Records Historic Landmark Designation and the amazing history built by Kelvin Anderson Sr. and the Anderson Family.
We are scheduled to go before the Historic Landmark Commission on November 13, 2017 and then to city council the following week to designate the sign A Historic Landmark.
We opened our doors in 1978 and for 39 years we have been woven in the fabric of music and music history. Come begin the celebration as we move forward to becoming 40 years old, with VIP 70's Soul Jam!
Join us for VIP Records 70's Soul Jam at The French Quarter in Bellflower and let’s come together and enjoy great food, music and the soul train line.
Your ticket will include a soul food buffet, DJ, Live Band and Comedy. Dance the night away for a cause and help us launch our yearlong celebration.
Prizes for the best dressed male, female and couple. Dance contests with CASH and other PRIZES!
Net proceeds will be split between Puerta Rico Relief Efforts and World-Famous VIP Foundations Music and Technology Programs for inner city youth.
The total amount raised will be announced the night of the event and checks will be presented to the Puerto Rico Organizations that will mobilize the funds.
